1. i can do this! after outlining everything i need to do, it doesn’t seem so bad. in fact it’s very methodical and easy to follow and i can do it.
2. oh my god its happening. its the end for me. i might as well be dead. everything is due now. i was put on this earth to suffer. i have two essays due in 45 seconds and all ive eaten today is half a goldfish cracker. i can only feel pain
girls need to stop thinking it’s okay to touch another girl inappropriately just because they’re girls
I had a girl go up to me and spank me and tell me I had a “fat ass” and I looked at her like she was fucking crazy
On god I did not even know her name
If it’s disrespectful for a man to do it it’s disrespectful for you to do it too??
Y’all also gotta learn not to touch guys too. Like it feels mad awkward when girls rub my arms or body out of nowhere.
It’s also not cool when gay guys grab my boobs and say “it’s okay, I don’t like girls”.
Basically respect people’s personal fucking space
I’ll never not reblog this. I had to quit a job I desperately needed because another girl I worked with would. not. stop. touching. my. ass.
I filed a complaint and everything. She was not fired, or even reprimanded. I had my paycheck withheld for months (legal where I lived). Seriously. Don’t touch people without permission, and don’t touch people “familiarly” in that way at work. Not only is it not right, it’s inappropriate in a workplace.
I don’t like any of the AU characters because they are not the same characters, the backstory and bond is not there (we have decades worth of backstory between Sam and Dean and real Bobby, for starters) and so I feel no affection for the fake ones at all. They are entirely separate people who just happen to have the same faces as characters we’ve grown to love. I don’t see the appeal at all.
vengerturtle: I find them irritating cause I feel like it’s such a cop out. They want to use our attachment to the real versions to make us care about these AU versions. But if they wanted to keep using these characters, they shouldn’t have killed them off. It just feels cheap.
My thoughts exactly. Should have just brought back the real ones if they wanted us to care about them.
Ah, good
bad old SPN and it’s insistence that if you go through something scarring and
traumatic, you have to open up about it the instant someone demands it, instead of dealing with it at your own
pace (even if that means repressing the issue for a while—which isn’t always
such a horrible thing) and then confiding in a person of your own choosing once you feel safe and comfortable doing so.
The thing is that despite popular belief (that ignores tons of evidence), Dean has never been able to keep things locked up inside him for too long, he
opens up about what’s bringing him down sooner or later to someone—it’s just
that it’s not always Sam he chooses to confide in. We’ve seen Dean have these
talks with all sorts of people he meets and
feels comfortable sharing with.
I can’t
help feeling that Dean’s anger and frustration in these “you’ve
been through something bad, Dean, you gotta talk to me about it” situations stems from the incessant nagging and insisting (usually from Sam) that he’s not okay, that he’s processing grief/pain/trauma the wrong way and he has to start doing it Sam’s
way right now.
(I also think
Sam’s insistence that Dean has to process things immediately, openly and in
front of Sam is actually because Sam himself processes things through Dean. And if Dean doesn’t give him the
chance to do that, Sam starts to freak out because he can’t focus on Dean
dealing with things and has to face those things himself.)

This is so fucking funny like you see this cool, tacky golden weave bowl & look closer to see that it’s a mass of writhing bodies of fallen soilders twisted into another in agony like something out of full metal alchemist
This is like…. some kinda exaggerated metaphor about the middle class profiting from while simultaneously covering up the sacrifice of poor people to the military industrial complex, Esp since the fruit bowl is ye olde symbolism for extramagance and gluttony.
All it needs is an acousitc minor key version of “Fortunate Son” playing as the music
looking for a nice tasteful centerpiece? why not try the tormented souls of the damned
there is no reason whatsoever to add a disclaimer when you reblog a post about an anti-semitic massacre. if you think that mourning jewish people is on any level contradictory to your values — if your values are somehow inconsistent with valuing jewish lives — you have anti-semitic values. if you’re worried that your friends will judge you if they see you acknowledging without a caveat that it’s wrong to murder jewish people, you have anti-semitic friends. it is an outrage that this even needs to be said.
