Here’s the thing, even the appearance of a predatory relationship should be avoided. There is no reason for a grown ass man to be sending personal texts to a 14-year-old girl if he isn’t her father or older brother. I’m not talking about business related issues or class or something like that, or even an occasional holiday greeting. But regular back-and-forth text conversation like you would have with your best friend is totally inappropriate with that kind of age difference and looks really bad.
