you know even this early in the series sam likes to establish himself as the perpetual victim? dad never treated you like that, dad told me to go, dad only loves his perfect little soldier, well i never knew mom so i guess you had it better than me; and then later in the series all the poor me i’ve been marked by a demon so i’ve no choice but to do what the demons want me to do woe is me; dean you left me to go risk your life and have fun killing monsters so i was all alone and had to invent people to keep me company i suffer so Much, like seriously? it starts so early and he just never stops making himself out to be the one who always gets the short end of the stick, also somehow managing to mock or belittle dean in the process and it’s like a never-ending game of: oh you’ve lost your leg in an accident, well i’ve lost both my legs and one arm and also i got ebola while saving tiny children form a burning building, i win
