How do you feel about Dean and Benny? I feel like Benny was so good for Dean. He made him so happy. What did you think of them, and team purgatory in general?
Look how happy Dean looks. But do you know why I love Benny so much?
Benny has never let Dean down. He was so good for Dean and to Dean. Forgiving him when Dean couldn’t be there with him, not holding it over his head.
He was just such a good friend to Dean, and I’m actually tearing up thinking about it. And you know what else was great about Benny? He laughed at Dean’s dumb jokes.
If there’s one thing I consistently wish for Dean, besides people in his life being gentle with him when he screws up, is for someone to appreciate this playful, dorky side of him.
I’m also a big fan of team purgatory, for the way Benny and Dean clearly are not fond of one another (Cas especially not fond of Benny) and Dean is the glue keeping them together. Love their interactions.
I can just see them wondering around for months bickering like this in between battling the various purgatory monsters and Dean just spending the entire time being exasperated 😛
Also, I like the visuals we sometimes got of them moving in sync.
