Anyway, us Dean fans know how fiercely he loves and how much he cares. And that he’s devastated not only when he loses family but also when he can’t save strangers. 

But I’m at the point where I don’t care about all that. I need focus on Dean’s trauma and Dean’s low self-worth. I no longer feel anything but sadness for Dean when he loses people. Because I know how much it’s going to hurt him and that the writers are only piling on the trauma with no break in sight. 

They use Dean’s pain and grief for “feels” for whichever fanbase they’re trying to please.
