Dean’s Hell trauma has never been given the same amount of attention as Sam’s has, but it’s there nonetheless. In small details, random lines, in subtext, sometimes only in Jensen’s acting because he’s the only one who even remembers Dean went to Hell.

But we know Dean’s been having (maybe still is) flashbacks to Hell, that Hell haunts him in nightmares. That he’s had to deal with trying to differentiate between Hell and the real world, that he’s had difficulty knowing whether the world he’s in is real.

Just because he doesn’t talk about these things (Why should he? It never worked out well for him if he showed weakness, even to those closest to him…) doesn’t mean he isn’t still dealing with them.
