Troughout the whole of season 12 Dean was the only Winchester who never showed any sympathy for the BMoL, or trusted them, or voluntarily joined them. He never displayed any sort of admiration for the results they got. He never willingly worked for them, joining them only after being cheated into it.
The only thing he liked about them is the grenade launcher. (Wanna bet this is literally and metaphorically NOT going to be Chekhov’s Gun? Stupid writers, missing the one chance at something potentially good, having Dean use the grenade launcher against the Brits.)
He drank Ketch’s whisky and then stopped him from getting his rocks off torturing a vampire.
Why should I admire Sam now for leading an army of hunters against the BMoL? Why should I feel even a little bit of sympathy for Mary for getting tortured and brainwashed?
Can we please have someone ON SCEREN acknowledge that Dean’s instincts have been right the whole time AND SAM AND MARY MADE THE WRONG CHOICE?
And while we’re at it, can someone please also say openly and loudly, for everyone to hear, how DEAN SAVED THE WORLD by talking sense into Amara and how he reconciled God and his estranged sister.
That’s all. Thanks, bye.
