#the rashomon effect#thing is dean DID just go out for a drink (or for whatever he did) and then HE CAME HOME#sam went out (no explanation or anything) and DIDN’T COME BACK HOME#dean did do exactly what he’d said but SAM DOESN’T KNOW THAT#dean does know what sam HAD LEFT OUT of his note entirely now…#because this isn’t actually a resolution here… sam still thinks dean had lied… and he didn’t#he thinks their ‘transgressions’ here are equal and boy howdy are they ever not (via @mittensmorgul)
