i’m suffering so much thinking about baby cas being all bright-eyed and curious about humanity, and then also just little things like young cas manipulating the weather (even when he’s not supposed to) to make it rain when there is drought. Cas caring about humanity from the very beginning, wanting to see these humans flourish and survive and grow.

Alternatively, you could have rebellion teenagel angel cas. Cas yelling “you’re not my father!” at michael as he flies off to sulk on a far off cloud. Cas spelling the enochian equivalent of “fuck you!” into the stars. Cas painting black stripes onto bees as a joke but ending up loving the small creatures.

Or remember how naomi mentioned tearing into his head over and over again? We could have Cas recovering his stolen memories of all the times he’s intervened to save humanity over the years, like what if we get to see Cas rescuing the child he was sent to kill when the angels were ordered kill every first born child in Egypt?

There’s just so much potential for what exploring Cas’ past could mean.
