I agree. This is one of the reasons why this show has turned unappealing to me. I’ve seen enough of Sam’s sanctification. 

Same. This is my biggest issue with Sam fans too. Apparently, Sam is this immaculate saint and martyr who has never done anything wrong in the history of ever. 

Sam working with Ruby, drinking demon blood, and killing Lilith? Sam was trying to save the world! Dean was just being bigoted against him!

Sam nearly strangling his brother to death during a blood high? Dean locked him away in that horrible panic room! He was upset and he didn’t hurt Dean that bad! 

Sam unleashed the Darkness? Sam was just trying to save his brother! Dean was just too selfish to let him! 

Sam is cinnamon roll Jesus who just wants to save the world so he can redeem himself and Dean is the literal Antichrist who does nothing but crucifying him at every conceivably possible opportunity.
