Glad someone confirmed this. That’s what I figured all along, but it’s been making me a bit crazy. Now, I want the whole story. My headcanon is that the amulet had a great adventure. Maybe the motel maid picked it up and took it home, gave it to her kid, who lost it at a park, where it was found by a homeless person, who traded it at a pawn shop and so on and so on. I would love to see the epic adventures of the Samulet.
