That’s because most of the fandom is raging at Dean fans for being pissed at Jack. Dean seems to be the only TFW member that can get treated like trash on the show but have most of the fandom agreeing with his mistreatment (unless the person is John doing the mistreating). Meanwhile, if Dean does or says something to the other characters, the entire fandom joins in on roasting him. The double standards are real.
I remember how most of the fandom reacted when Dean told Jack that he would kill him if he turned out to be evil. There was lots of meta on why Dean was just like John and other ridiculous things. I mean, we even got to listen to Sam equate Dean to John.
Meanwhile, Jack says Dean doesn’t matter and Cas looks shocked and sad. And it’s crickets from most of the fandom. Wait. I take that back. It’s not crickets, it’s “Jack was right. He’s the only one thinking clearly.” While ignoring the fact that Dean fans are pissed at him saying Dean doesn’t matter, and that he’s not even worth trying to save.
Still waiting for someone to make a manip of Cas slapping the mouth off Jack and sending him packing back to his “grandparents”.
He’s suddenly very mad over what Michael did in AW, yet still thought his daddy was a good guy, remember. This immediately after “missing” his mom…..who his dad raped. Then again, Jack did override her consent too and brainwash her. Like father, like son.
its one thing to be a generally bad showrunner but having zero respect for the actors who try to keep the show going despite ur terrible ideas? literally not giving a fuck theyre struggling and dont know what u expect of them? not even taking a moment to brainstorm with them or give them any kind of help or direction? fuck dabb is what im sayin
like he clearly doesnt give a shit about dean at all but hes not completely stupid and knows jensen being on the show is literally the only thing keeping this boat from sinking and he just exploits that?? giving us the bare minimum in terms of storylines is shitty af but he also treats jensen this way and that sucks ass because jensen cares so much about dean and he wants to do him justice and now with michael he wants to stretch his abilities (and spn being a full time commitment its not like he gets many other opportunities) and dabb cant even be fucked to discuss character motivation and direction with him?? this isnt even being bad at your job this is wasting an actors talent and disrespecting him af in the process and im so angry
