Why did you have to take this away from him? The one thing, amid all the crap that life threw Dean Winchester’s way, the one thing he could always count on was that once upon a time, his mother loved him. That she loved him like this. This gentle, uncomplicated, unconditional love, once belonged to Dean Winchester. Someone loved him like this when it felt like no one else possibly could. It kept him going through everything else, through all the burdens placed on his shoulders. Through all the anger, the tears, the loneliness; all the hard times. And now it’s been ripped away from him, like he never even had it at all.
